The Lavazza Italian Film Festival 2006 will open in irrepressibly Italian-style with a must-attend gala event on Thursday 26 October at Palace Norton Street cinemas.

The Opening Night Gala will feature the Sydney premiere of popular actor and director Carlo Verdone’s MY BEST ENEMY, the smash-hit generational comedy that re-unites Verdone with his Manual of Love co-star Silvio Muccino.

Following the screening, guests will join the official reception, with drinks, dance and music, including a special performance from Rome’s opera-pop sensation Vittorio Grigolo!
