Vitti plays a young woman who tries to bounce back from a break-up by letting herself be seduced by roguish stockbroker Delon. But is she even capable of being in love? The camerawork by Gianni De Venanzo explores the contours of the sultry yet angst-ridden Vitti in one of her finest performances.
